Adding Slide Topper To Slide Out On 2024 Torque T264 W/ Refrigerator Vent On Top Corner Of Slide

Question:
I have a 2024 Torque T264 with a slideout measuring 87 inches. The refrigerator is in the slideout, and the upper refrigerator vent is too close to the slideout flange to mount the topper bracket. What do you suggest for mounting the bracket?

Hey Stephen, thanks for reaching out. I have seen this before on some campers that have vents or windows on the slide out. It definitely makes things a bit tougher, It may be possible to install the brackets to the very top edge of the slide out, but the upper rail would also need to be move up a few inches. Otherwise the fabric wont be at the correct angle and you will have water pooling on the fabric, or worse running towards the camper. Also mounting the brackets to the top flange on the slide out can be tough since the surface isn't perfectly flat. So it can be done, but you or your installer might have to get a bit creative.
That said, the 91" wide topper part # LCV000168106 is a good size for your 87" slide.
