Question:

Has Lippert approved the Gen Y gooseneck hitch for use on a 2021 Montana 3761FL. Currently it has a 1621 on it.

Hey Todd, officially Lippert has not endorsed the use of the Gen-Y part # GY58GR on your 2021 Montana 3761FL and the only one they'll honor the warranty with is the Reese Goose Box like the part # RP59KR. I've heard that the reason for not honoring the warranty is more political than anything else. It's not that it's more stressful but more that they have a great relationship with Reese if that makes sense...is price the reason you'd prefer the Gen-Y?

I like the fact it doesn't have an air bag. It's too disappointing that Lippert is not looking out for their consumers, rather than just business as usual.
