I want to put a thule hullivator on my Nissan 2013 Pathfinder. Are Tuyoung crossbars compatible?

Hello Susan,

We can definitely get you set up to use the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898, but I do not think the Tuyoung crossbars are going to work. Tuyoung is not a brand that we carry, but from what I can see they are crossbars like the image of the Thule wingbar I attached. The reason those kind of flush mounted bars will not work is because the bars need to extend past the feet of the roof rack by 4-8" (please refer to other image I attached) for the Hullavator to install.

In order to get the Hullavator mounted on your 2013 Nissan Pathfinder you will want to use one of the following roof racks (please refer to image I attached on what kind of roof you have):

Factory installed raised rails: Inno Aero Roof Rack for Raised Rails - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # IN73YV

For a naked roof: Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Aluminum - Silver - Qty 2 # RR46RE

I gave you the wrong date on my Pathfinder. It’s a 2019, not a 2013, Nissan Pathfinder with fixed rails. I want to install a hullivator and need to have cross rails that are long enough to provide the overhang necessary for the hullovator. Ineed to have cross rails that are long enough to provide the overhang necessary for the hullivator. You had recommended the inno aero crossbars, which are 57 inches long but that only gives three inches of overhang and the hullivator requires at least 4 to 8 inches. Would you please respond with the proper length of inno aero crossbars that you recommend?

@SusanJ Hello again Susan, Sounds like you measured your roof, which I greatly appreciate. Since you need longer bars, your Pathfinder is a 2019, and you have fixed raised rails, you will want to go with the Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails - JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # Y42GD. I know this one is a little more than the INNO but I needed to find a system that will accommodate to the overhang that is required. Yakima is an excellent brand, and will pair nicely with the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Roof Rack and Lift Assist w/ Tie-Downs - Saddle Style - Universal Mount # TH898. How long have you been kayaking for?
