Can the Rack'Em Havy-Futy Cargo Basket for Open Trailer Be Mounted on the Side

Could the box be mounted on its side to have the access in the front so it doesnt interfere with the ladder rack without compromising the structural integrity of the cage?

Bruce, unfortunately no. The Rack'Em Heavy-Duty Cargo Basket for Open Trailers # RA-14-14L is going to need to be installed as shown to not compromise the structural integrity, Could you physically do that, yes. But instead of a 250 lb capacity, it would be unknown since the weight would shift from the bottom to the sides.
