Replacement Door Latch for 1998 Featherlite Horse Trailer

Question:
Hello, I have a 1998 Featherlite horse trailer, and I need a new side door latch. The dimension of the opening are: 51/4 x 53/4. Do you have a latch that will fit those dimensions?

Hey James! The closest option we have is the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock # BA65FR you were looking at. This fits cutouts that are 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall. Since your cutout is taller you will have to fill it in with some wood or other material. It won't take much since the face of the latch measures 6-7/8" wide x 5-1/2" tall so it will cover most of the opening.
