Hey John,

The 2016 Audi A6 Quattro 4-door sedan doesn't have factory mounting points so you would need to go with a roof rack system that clamps onto the door jamb like the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # TH42TG. The clamps are designed to fit the curvature of the door jamb and have pads to prevent scratching the paint. I've attached a picture below as well as video where Matt will show you how this style of roof rack gets installed.

Kevin, Yes I Understand that, my question was related to what hardware is available to hold the roof rack cargo to the , roof rack bars. It’s mentioned that the roof rack bars have a “T” slot for cargo hold down, but I don’t see where this hardware is described , details , or where it can be purchased.

@JohnM That's completely dependent on the accessory you're wanting to mount to the crossbars. Thule doesn't offer load stops for their crossbars, only their ladder racks, but you can use Rhino-Rack's # RRRLH2 with the T-slot in the crossbars. Thule does offer an eyelet bolt # TH37QC that can also slip into the T-slot channel to give you a mounting point for some straps. What did you have in mind?
