Best Fitting Roof Rack Recommendation for 2009 Honda Accord

Hey Benoit, if you are looking for the best fitting roof rack for your 2009 Honda Accord that is priced a little easier I would go with the Inno roof rack part numbers # IN33QR which is a fully custom fit rack for your Accord. The Sportrack you mentioned is a semi-custom rack designed to fit as many vehicles as possible which basically means it doesn't fit all of the vehicles very well. If you needed a one time use roof rack this is a solid option but if you want something that fits well and would work great over time the Inno wins for sure.

If you wanted the absolute best fitting option you'd instead want the Yakima Jetstream roof rack part # Y28AB which is by the far the nicest option but it's price reflects this.

Thanks, Jameson. I should have mentioned that my car is a 4-door Accord (2009 model). I see in the Y22TB instructions that it fits the 2-door Accord.

@JamesonC : Thank you. We are actually thinking of going for a hitch rather than a tack roof. Can you confirm if we should go for the model C11496 for the same Honda Accord 2009? It would be installed in Ithaca, NY. I see you recommend an installer there (Kuntry Kustom). Is that the one, and can you ship the hitch directly to them? Finally, which ski rack would you recommend to match the hitch?

@Benoit Yes, the Curt hitch part # C11496 is a fit for your 2009 Accord and would be a great option. We can ship to basically any of our dealers/installers so that won't be a problem either. To do a hitch ski rack you'd want the Yakima HitchSki part # Y02418 which is designed to convert a Yakima bike rack to a ski rack like the Yakima Ridgeback part # Y02458. There is oddly enough not a lot of ski racks that fit directly to hitches aside from a few that only fit the 2 inch hitch size which isn't available for your Accord. Roof rack ski racks are still the most popular but they aren't for everyone. This would give you a bike rack you could use too for that though so that's a nice bonus.
