Hey Harold,

The Ignik Topside Heated Blanket # GN23FR has the 48 watt rating and is rated for 4 amps. According to the manual you'll need a power source that can supply 250-300Wh (minimum) for one full night of use.

When it comes to the connectors, the one with the circle end goes to the 12V power while the flat end goes to the blanket. I've attached a photo to assist.

Jon G; So the wife and kids are camping out in the backyard. Can I safely say Obtaining a 1000 Watt. 110 AC to 12VDC 10 amp with cigarette connection will work. Since it will supply power continueusly. This way she can also use it in the car normally as its intended use. Because Women are always Cold !

@HaroldB Yes, something like that will work just fine. I do recommend doing a test run in a safe environment to make sure this won't drain your vehicle battery overnight. It's great to stay warm, but not at the expense of being stranded! My wife is the exact same way so I can definitely relate!
