If you didn't opt for the trim package that came with heated seats, the Ignik Backside heated seat pad is a simple solution to add warmth to your car seat. Using the 12V power port in your vehicle, the pad creates warmth via a carbon fiber heating element. After this heats up, a reflective layer keeps that warmth inside the pad. It's the perfect way to keep your seat warm on a cold morning commute or a long road trip on chilly night.
The included adapter plugs into the 12V power outlet in your vehicle or power station. The pad can also use a USB-C Power Delivery connection in your power bank or station when you are away from your vehicle. Once you're settled in, it typically takes less than 5 minutes for the element to reach maximum heat.
The easy-to-use, wired remote lets you choose your preferred temperature. Depending on how much warmth you want, it lets you adjust the power level in increments of 10, from 10 percent to 100 percent. Also, the internal memory stores the power level setting when you turn it off. When you fire it back up, that function brings the pad back to the temperature that works for you. Finally, the automatic shut-off deactivates the pad after 90 minutes to conserve power.

So if you're the type of person that doesn't let, when the weather starts getting chillier, stop you from getting outdoors, having something like the Ignik Backside Excel Seat Warmer's gonna work well. You can power it using 12 volt power, a backup battery pack like this, or even a personal recharge battery cell using USB type-C. So let's take a closer look at it and see what it does for us. This guy has actually put together pretty well. It folds over compact for when you're not using it and it'll work well in sleeping bags, on your chair, camp chair like this, or even if you have an older pickup like this one here where you don't have any heated seats. There's a built in temperature control, so you can make adjustments between 1 and 100 to dial it right in where you need to go and you have increments where it goes up by 10, you can really get it keyed in.
Now today is something like maybe about 48 degrees. So I feel it's sitting in the seat pretty well. It's not overly hot, but I just feel that radiant heat. So to go on the inside of your vehicle, it's just as simple as switching out from your USB to your barrel plug connection and then just plugging in your 12 volt outlet. And, again, you can actually set this guy up on your seat if you don't have heated seats and make those adjustments.
Ignik does a great job of creating products that make the outdoors a lot more accessible. If you have friends and family that don't necessarily like bundling up and being in the cold, you'll be able to have a better experience 'cause they have things like rechargeable hand warmers, portable stoves and not to mention other seat warmers. And I would love to see your campsite or your cabin. Show us where you're using these products because we love having that interaction with you. Now, again, this is Ed with etrailer.com taking a look at the Ignik Backside Excel Seat Warmer.
Have a great day.
This has been the best heating pad for my husband. He uses it everyday all day in his work truck in the oilfield, he does not pamper it. Works perfect! I will order another one just in case something happens to this one.
