Question:
Looking for replacement springs and shackles for my 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2500RL. It has Dexter Part Number 4440558 3500 pound axles. I believe the springs are rated for 1750 pounds. Also would you recommend a upgrade. I did a little reserve on you site and someone recommended the Part Number: e22YR as an upgrade. Thanks for your help

Hey Richard,
In order to replace both your leaf springs and shackle straps you'll need to take some measurements of both. For the leaf springs you'll need to lift the trailer by the frame on one side and let the axles hang to take the pressure off of the springs. Then you can measure from to the center of one eyelet to the center of the other eyelet. It's fine to go up in capacity a little bit but you'll have a stiffer ride that can be a bit bouncier when unloaded as you increase the capacity of the leaf springs. A 500lb difference in the spring capacity won't make a noticeable difference though. The # e22YR could potentially work but you'll need to measure to ensure it's the right length to match your suspension.
For the shackle straps you'll do the same thing and measure from eyelet center to eyelet center to determine the correct fit. You should find either a 2-1/4" or 3-1/8" spacing. If you're wanting to upgrade these and go to wet bolts then you can use either part # MR46ZR (2-1/4") or part # MR76ZR (3-1/8").
Let me know what your measurements are and I'd be happy to help.

Hey Richard, were you able to get those measurements for your leaf springs and shackle straps on the Grand Design Imagine? Once you have them, I can help confirm if the e22YR springs and the MORryde upgrade kit are the right match. Let me know what you find so we can narrow it down.
