Can The Curt C59236 Be Used To Bypass Factory Wiring On 2016 Cadilac SRX

Question:
I have a 2016 Cadillac SRX with prewired towing plug that has a broken green wire some where in system, so can i use the curt 59236 wire system the buy pass the factory system to connect to small utility trailer

Hello Fred, thanks for reaching out. While the preferred option here would be to have your vehicle serviced and have the green wire repaired, the Curt # C59236 can be used to bypass the factory wiring. So long as the wiring harness is spliced in ahead of wherever the break in the green wire is this will be a solution for you.
