Can The RVS Camera System Be Used As A 360° Security Camera System

Question:
Own a 2016 Explorer Police Interceptor. Looking for a 360° security system with always on/ motion activated pkg. Would this work or is there a different pkg available?

Hey Kendrick,
The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-062710 would normally be wired to the running light circuit to be able to power it on and off as needed to prevent battery drain. It doesn't have a motion activation but if you're looking to have this running all the time then you can run the power wire directly to the battery with a switch to toggle it as needed, but would likely need another battery to power the camera system separately from the vehicle battery.
You can make this work but there are better options for this kind of need that we just don't currently offer.
