Installing A Lippert Ground Control Leveling System On A 2018 Thor Vegas 25.3

Question:

I am in the process of adding Lippert Ground Control to my 2018 Thor Vegas 25.3, to date I have been unable to locate a wiring harness to connect the parking brake and neutral safety switch. Does this wiring harness exist for the Ford F53 chassis or is it fabracated by the installer? I can locate the parking brake switch but the transmission does not employ a simple neutral saftey switch.

Hey Richard,

Which system exactly are you installing? Lippert uses the Ground Control name for multiple systems so I want to make sure we're both looking at the same thing. Since you're installing on a motorhome you should have the hydraulic version, correct?

Kevin, Yes, the system is hydraulic Leveling Control PN 1010002348 Revision 0A.

@RichardR Ok, that comes back to a PowerGear control module. Did you have an installation manual that lists the system you have? If not the hydraulic pump motor would have a serial number on that we can also check.

Kevin, The pump motor has AA0756 painted on it as does the hydraulic tank.

@RichJ I keep going back and forth with Lippert and they just don't seem to be matching any harnesses up to your system. When you have time I would give Lippert a call and have their tech walk you through identifying the system and whether or not you would need to purchase a separate harness or just connect a few wires instead of a full harness. The case number I have for your ticket with them is 5458705.
