Troubleshooting a Tire Rubbing the Frame on a 2018 Forest River Grey Wolf
Updated 11/03/2024 | Published 11/01/2024 >
Question:
2018 Grey wolf 28ft. Right rear tire has started to rub frame. Have pulled this trailer about 20000 miles in the past 3 years and have never had a problem. Thought maybe it was tire so changed it but didn’t help. Any ideas

Hey Russel! It could be multiple things. A bent or broken axle, damaged suspension components, or bad bearings inside that hub. I would start by examining your axle and suspension for obvious signs of damage or something being bent. If these check out I recommend pulling that hub off and replacing the bearings.

Bearing are good. Don’t see a broke spring. Not sure about bent axle. Going to pull wheels tomorrow to see what I can see. Thanks
