Yes, you can Steve but only if you're running a 12v line. The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195 can be installed on a vehicle with air brakes. The controller uses inertia so there is no need to splice into the air brakes, just the stop light switch circuit at the pedal.
If you have 24 volt then you'll want the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Item # RED44FR.
