How to Prevent 5th Wheel Battery Bank from Draining Battery on a 2015 Ram 2500
Published 10/31/2024 >
Question:
my 5th wheel will drain my battery on my Dodge 2015 2500 cummins. I would like a relay that disconnects the live wire in my 7 pin connector when the vehicle is off. Do you have such a thing?

Hey Richard, thanks for reaching out!
What you're needing is the Redarc Smart Start Battery Isolator # 331-SBI212D which shuts off that 12V connection back to the 7-Way on your truck when the ignition is off. We used to have more of a simple one, but that one has been discontinued now and the ones from Redarc are the safest on the market, which is why I recommend their isolator.
