Question:
Looking for a surface mount light kit with motion sensor built in for a 53’ refrigerated trailer. Preferable IP65 rated. Looking for lights and wiring with some type of trim/conduit to hide the wiring. Thank you

Hi Jonny; the only surface mount light we have with a sensor is the # 3375625338 you were looking at. This doesn't have the IP65 rating and the timer only stays on for 23 seconds if no other motion is detected so that probably isn't what you want.
If you decide a recessed mount light could work we also have the Great White LED Dome Light for Refrigerated Trucks and Trailers # M365. This is a great choice since it is rated for temperatures down to -55º F and has a long 5 minute timer ideal for a trailer like yours. The downside here is cutting into the trailer to mount it.
I don't have a lot of experience with refrigerated trailers but I would imagine if you add some extra insulation behind it and seal it up nicely it won't be a problem. If connecting to power is an issue I'm sure you could get away with using longer screws to surface mount the light with the flange sticking out and then run some basic wire loom # 39035 to cover the wires.
Before you try to rig something up it may be worth reaching out to a company that manufactures or makes parts for refrigerated trailers to see if they're aware of a light that meets all of your requirements as is.
