Replacement Inverter Charger for a Xantrex Freedom XC 2000

Question:

I have a 2022 Keystone Passport 252RD with a Xantrex Freedom XC 2000 installed. I believe it’s an inverter and charger. It’s recently started malfunctioning and showing the error code from the photo. It also seems to have stopped charging the battery even when plugged in to shore power. I’m not in love with it and am considering replacing it with something else. Can you recommend a comparable replacement? Thanks!

The most comparable replacement option we have for your Xantrex Freedom XC 2000, is the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger item # 34280055. It is also a pure sine wave inverter, converter charger, and automatic transfer switch.

The Go Power item # 34280055 inverter is capable of 2,000 watts of constant power and has a starting capacity of 4,000 watts. The transfer switch will run your 120 volt power from your generator or from your batteries when the generator is switched off. Lastly it has a charger capable of 100 amps charging for your battery bank.

@RichardC You're welcome! It's going to depend on your experience with electrical systems. I linked the installation instructions below. I recommend taking a look at them and seeing how easy or difficult you think it would be to swap out the Go Power item # 34280055 with your current set up.
