Question:
Does the Curt hitch for the 2001 Honda Civic come with a fishwire kit for placing the carriage bolts?
asked by: Robert
Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C11204 has the fishwire tool needed for installation of the hitch. This hitch has a 1-1/4 X 1-1/4 inch receiver opening, and is a Class l hitch, and is a good fit for your 2001 Honda Civic 2 or 4 door if it is not a hatchback. The hitch will not fit Si models.
All non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
