Troubleshooting Battery Replacement in TempMinder Wireless Indoor and Outdoor Won't Pair

Question:
We changed the batteries in both the display and sensor in our 1.5 year old unit. Now, we arent getting any display reading for the outdoor temp. The red light on the sensor is blinking, and the indoor temp and time do show up. What could cause this?

Expert Reply:
It should auto pair but I would try moving the sensor closer to the display temporarily to see if you can get it to pair if it hasn't paired on it's own by now. You should be able to move it back to where it was before.
