Question:

02 artic fox camper, 93gmc ,there are a couple colors that dont match. I.e yellow wir from camper blue on connecter plug . dont want to buy new plugs for one wire difference. Thanks

The issue is that there is no standard for wire colors and functions so manufacturers can use any color wire for any function which just makes things difficult. But there is a fairly simple way to determine the functions of the wires so you can get everything installed and set up properly.

All you will need is a circuit tester, such as # PTW2992 if you do not already have one, and then test the wires in question while someone else runs through the various functions. Once a wire shows power with a given function you will know what its for. At that point it would be a good idea to label the wires!
