What is the length of the Short Arm TH68JH from the center of the jaw to the center of the bar where the bar clamp attaches. Is it the same 4.5inch center-to-center dimension of the Short Arm Assembly for Thule EasyFold XT Electric Bike Rack? Can the Long Arm TH59NH be field-cut to shorten it by a skilled trades mechanic DIY er?

Hey Bart, the replacement short arm assembly part # TH68JH that you referenced is same dimension as what comes with the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 so it wouldn't be any shorter than what you have now. If you really wanted to cut it down I am sure there is a way to pull it off if you know what you are doing but we do not have any specific instructions on that.
