Question:
Im looking for a grease seal to replace a very old one with no brand name stamped on it, just the number 30624. I measured it as 3.062OD and 2.160ID. Do you have something similar? The closest I am able to find on the internet is a Timken 710438, but it doesnt seem to match exactly. Thank you in advance!

My research on this grease seal part number turned up only its specified inner and outer diameters, which are 2.125 and 3.066 inches respectively. It is not at all unusual for a used seal to measure differently than when it was new; the effects of wear and the process of removing the seal can often distort it. Also, the rubber compounds at the inner diameter can shrink and deteriorate and give a misleading dimension.
We do have two grease seals with this exact 3.066-inch outer diameter and both can be seen on the link provided. Part # SL200 has a 2.000-inch inner diameter and part # SL226 has a 2.250 inner diameter. Based on your measured 2.160 inner diameter I suspect part # SL226 is the best option.
