What Is The Outer Diameter Of The B&B Electrical Cable Hatch for RVs BM63MR

Question:
Is this hatch 4-5/8inch OD or 5-1/8inch OD? It says both in different places. My trailer is a fully equiped 1998 Scamp 16. It needs a new hatch and Id like to use the existing holes if possible. The existing hatch on my trailer is about 4-5/8inch OD, and is the original. Thanks in advance for your help! Ron

Hello Ron, thanks for reaching out. The B&B Electrical Cable Hatch for RVs # BM63MR is 4-5/8" in diameter overall. I am not sure where the 5-1/8" came from but that is not correct and I will work on getting that fixed on the site. Take a look at the screenshot from our video below. The hatch is clearly 4-5/8" as you can see, so it sounds like this will work for you. Sorry for any confusion.

Hey Ron, how did the 4-5/8-inch B&B cable hatch work out on your Scamp trailer? It sounds like it should have lined up with your existing holes. Your update could make it easier for others replacing the same hatch.
