Question:

Greetings, I have a 6ft bed 2022 Tacoma with a BakFlip Mx4 cover. I was wondering if there was a compatible latter rack.

Hello Kevin; we do have a ladder rack that is compatible with your MX4 # BAK48427. The Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Matte Black # A26ZR or Aluminum # A86ZR will work with your tonneau cover. They are the same rack with the only difference being the finish. Since these mount on top of the bed rails they will work with inside-the-rail tonneau covers like the MX4. The uprights are also completely vertical which will give you the clearance needed to fold up your cover.

It is possible to add the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855. However, you will need to install the TS Rails # TX82NV. Right now they are listed as the telescoping rack on our site since there was a mixup in the name and description but these are the TS rails you need to install the OverHaul with the tonneua cover adapter. If you see this later and it says TS rails as the product name you can ignore what I said. Either way, the # TX82NV will add tracks to the top of the bed rails so you can mount the ladder rack.

Thank you for your response. Do you know if there is an adjustable ladder-style rack that is also compatible with the MX4 Bakflip? Something like the Yakima Overhaul. I would like to be able to still use my Bakflip to secure the bed of the truck and keep it weatherproof but have a rack to take on and off if I want to use my rooftop tent for the weekend.

@KevinF I went ahead and updated this with an additional paragraph above. We added the TS Rails which will allow you to install the OverHaul and use it with your MX4.
