Yes, you can! The Curt Hitch item # C12232 fits both the sedan and wagon models of the 2003 Ford Taurus. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your car with included hardware. This is a class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 300 lbs maximum tongue weight.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # HM48895 if you have a wagon or item # C55375 if yours is a sedan. These will provide you with a 4-flat connector capable of controlling your trailer or accessories lights.
You will also need the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
