Can the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch for a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan Be Installed In Garage

Question:
For 2017 Dodge Caravan, can I DIY the hitch at my garage? Do I need special tools? Is trailer wiring included? Please advise.

Cedric, you can technically install a hitch like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75579 in your garage but all these hitches are going to require the exhaust to be lowered, and some underbody panels to be trimmed.
So special tools required, yes, unless you already own an exhaust hanger removal tool and a Sawzall.
