Will The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch C31077 Fit A 2014 Nissan NV3500

Question:

Hello - I’ve noted others have mounted this hitch on newer than mine NV3500’s. I have a 2014 NV3500, I believe it WILL be a bolt on. Any input would be appreciated, thank you! - Mike

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. According to Curt, the Front Mount Hitch # C31077 you mentioned is only a fit for the 2016-2021 models of the Nissan NV 3500. For these models the hitch is a no-drill install.

As far as your 2014 model I cannot guarantee fitment. We do not recommend hitches for vehicles that are not listed in the manufacturer's fitment guide. If you want to see if it will fit, your best bet will be to take a look at the manufacturer instructions I linked below. Check the diagrams and compare it to your vehicle and see if there are any obstructions or if any modifications need to be made or anything like that. Since there is no custom fit hitch for the 2014 model, you may have to get creative in order to get a front hitch to fit.

Hey Mike, were you able to compare the Curt front hitch diagrams with your 2014 NV3500? Knowing what you found could really help others trying to fit a front hitch on the older models.

@MikeB That makes sense with there being no custom fit hitch. The Curt Class V Universal Hitch # C99CR is one we recommend pretty frequently for custom fabricating a front hitch. Might be worth looking into or running this by the shop you plan to use.
