Ladder Rack For Roof Tent On Top Of An Overland Trailer

Question:
I am looking for a ladder rack for a overland trailer to mount a rooftop tent onto. Ideally it would be adjustable but my minimum width is 78” wide and hoping to get 3’ or more in height. It has been hard to find one that will span the width of my trailer at 77 3/4”. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Jeff. We do have one roof rack option that may work for you. Take a look at the Yakima Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y67CV. This roof rack has 70" long aero bars, so not quite the 78" you are looking for, but this will be the widest option we offer. It requires installing a set of tracks on the roof of your trailer to attach the towers to. So you will be drilling into the roof. The tracks themselves are 60" long, and they are available in other sizes if you need. Please compare these measurements to your trailer and make sure it will line up on your end.
