I have a 83 inch slide out from flange to flange and I had the number from the dealership and ordered it they sent me a 90inch cover is that OK

Our 91" Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163288 fits slide-outs 86" - 91" wide so for your application I would be recommending the smaller 85" Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163287.
I would imagine there are some slight differences in the fitments from manufacturer to manufacturer but I don't see them being that drastic. I recommend double checking the fit with who you bought the slide-out awning from before you start opening things up.
