Troubleshooting An Everchill Double Door RV Refrigerator That Isn't Cooling

Question:

My Ever Chill Fridge is not cooling. I have the Part Number: EV27FR model. The freezer is working just fine but the fridge is warm. I hear no fan running. I pulled the fridge out and took the back plate off and saw thispicture attached but not sure what it is and how to fix. Please give any advice this is my first camper and I can’t seem to find any solutions.

Hey Brittany,

I didn't get the picture but with the back panel removed you should be able to see the drain pipe and drain pan and can see if it's iced or clogged up. You can also vacuum out any dust that might have built up here. From there you can check your mode and temperature settings to make sure that you have cooling on and that the temperature is set properly.

It could also be that the fridge isn't venting enough if it's too cramped. The # EV27FR requires 11.8” of free space at the top, more than 3.9” on both sides, and more than 2” for the back side of the refrigerator. I'll email you a link to the owner's manual incase you don't have one.
