Need New Disc Brake Kit For 2023 Shorlandr Boat Trailer
Updated 01/12/2026 | Published 09/02/2024 >
Question:
I need help finding the right brake assembly to my 2023 Shorelandr boat trailer. VIN 1MDASAW27PA760656. One of the wheels got stuck when I was towing the boat and blew off the tire. I most likely need a whole new kit including the rotors and calipers. I don’t understand how a such new trailer could get rusted that quickly. I wash that thing more than I shower. Let me know when you can. Thanks

Hello Iran, thanks for reaching out. We certainly should have the correct brake assemblies for your 2023 Shorelandr boat trailer. I do not have a way to use the VIN to know exactly what brake kit you will need. If you can tell me the weight capacity of the axle, that will help a lot to narrow down the right parts. Additionally, I will need to confirm the bearing sizes for your axle. The best way to determine this is to pull a hub and remove the bearings. Each bearing should have a number stamped on the edge, and if you can provide both the inner and outer bearing numbers, I can make sure you get the right brake kit. The calipers and rotors are brand specific, so it is best to get a whole kit with rotors, calipers and pads.
Let me know your axle weight capacity and bearing sizes and I am happy to recommend parts.
