Can these ramps be used as extensions to existing ramps?

Hello Loyd. The Aluminum Car Hauler Ramps # 288-07503 are not meant to be used as a ramp extension. If you are looking for a ramp extension to decrease your approach angle take a look at the Race Ramps Trailer Loading Assist Ramps # RR-TR-7. This is a 74" long ramp extension that will decrease your approach angle by about 5.5 degrees. These ramps are available in different sizes and you can see our full selection using the link below. Thanks Jesse. I spoke with Race Ramps before I contacted you. These ramps are designed to be used on hard surfaces, concrete or asphalt. I have a gravel surface. Since the foam ramp will conform to the surface and have indentations from the gravel, the longevity of the ramp would be questionable.

@LoydR Ah ok gotcha. The race ramps are pretty durable, but gravel is not going to be kind to them especially with repeated use. With that in mind, the only good way to decrease your approach angle would be to go with a longer ramp.
