Best Way To Clean Mold Or Dirt From Slide Out Seals

Question:
5th wheel trailer. The rubber on each side of the side outs have a black mark or mold on them. I cant get the markings off. Any Suggestions? Thank you.

Hello Peter. If your slide out seals are moldy you could try using a mild bleach/water solution to clean them and kill the bleach. You could also try a more mild cleaner like 409 spray for dirt or other markings. If the seals are beyond saving they will need to be replaced. The best way to find the correct replacement is to remove a portion of the seal, measure the side profile and find a match.
