Question:

-Looking at the Optronics 4inch sealed round LED tail lights. I am needing to replace older, metal NON sealed lights in my travel trailer. MY raw hole size is exactly 4 1/2inch now. WILL the new LED sealed lights with rubber grommets fit into this opening? Any pointers in the install? Thanks, previous satisfied customer!

The Optronics Trailer Light # STL43RB that you referenced can mount using rubber grommet # A45GB. But this light's overall diameter is 4-5/16-inches so this light unit would be too large to allow for grommet mounting in your trailer's 4-1/2-inch opening.

However, my contact at Optronics confirmed that this mounting grommet # A45GB will fit a 4-1/2-inch rough opening and with it you can use the other light you referenced, part # STL101RB, which is 4-inches in diameter. If you need a wiring pigtail you can use # A47PB.
