Hello Jon. We do offer a trailer hitch for the 2018 Cadillac ATS, the Curt Class 1 Hitch # C11311. This has a 1-1/4" receiver and is rated for towing up to 2,000 lbs or 200 lbs of tongue weight. Keep in mind that this will fit the ATS base model, but it will not fit the ATS-V model. You can see our current pricing below.

Not to be mean, I know all that. Was descussing that with elise? My question is can a class 2 bike rack work on a class 1 receiver. Having a 1 1/4 hitch limits my options....my bikes weigh 62lbs each

@Jon Hey Jon, your initial question was only about a trailer hitch so thats why I recommended only a hitch. To answer your other question, no, you cannot use a class 2 rack on a class 1 receiver. You will have to use a class 1 compatible bike rack. With 65 lb bikes it really limits your options. What I recommend is the Thule Epos Bike Rack # TH99XE. This is class 1 compatible, and it has a weight capacity of 140 lbs. So plenty for your two 62 lb bikes. As a side note we always recommend removing the battery from an e-bike before you transport it. This is for safety and also to help cut the weight.

@Jon I checked that link and they specify that rack will only work with hitches class 2 or higher so that will not work. The Thule Epos I mentioned will work great with step thru bikes without the need for an adapter bar.
