Brake Controller for 2018 Freightliner Cascadia

I have a 2018 freightliner cascadia I want to pull my 40foot gooseneck trailer with .I have the pigtail adapter from 7 round to 7 flat and have changed out the gooseneck to a kingpin .what do I need to do for a break controller ?

Hi David; I'm assuming you have air brakes in your 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. For that reason I recommend the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C. This brake controller is specifically designed to work with air brakes. It is air-actuated and will apply the trailer brakes proportionally based on the air brake pressure in your truck.

The easiest to install brake controller you could use with your 2012 Freightliner Cascadia 125 would be the Curt Echo Mobile part #C51180 which only needs to plug into an active 7-way and it's ready to be used once synced to a smart phone.
