Will the Thule Hull-a-Port Aero product fit into the T-slot of the Tesla Model Ys OEM roof rack? Or are there other mounting components, such as U-bolts, that can be used instead?

Hi Hoon,
I can tell you how to determine if the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier # TH849000 fits the T-slots of your Tesla Model Y roof rack, though we haven't test fit it, and Thule doesn't have fit information on OEM crossbars, so I can't give you an outright answer. You'll have to measure the T-slots and if they are 3/4" wide and at least 1/8" tall then the # TH849000 will fit.
If that's not what your T-slot size is, there isn't any adapter like a U-bolt that can be used with the Hull-A-Port, though you can use a similar J-style carrier that clamps on, the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier # Y04073.
I checked with Yakima, who does do test fits and they verified the JayLow fits the OEM roof rack of a Model Y.
