Acura RDX 2014 Connector Location for Installing Curt Trailer Wiring Harness part # 56008

Question:
Can you confirm my update to installation instructions for this wiring harness? Location for end of 2014 manufacturing year , April - May 2014 - has connector on drivers side pop-out panel in rear storage area, easy to get to. Dont need to dissemble the spare tire area unless you want to route the wires through there. Also, the harness wont operate unless you add a 20amp yellow fuse to the Trailer fuse slot located under the hood. Very easy installation once updated steps were found.
