Is Roud Tube Hitch Available for a 1997 Chevy Pickup with Square Tube Hitch

Question:
I recently purchased a 1997 Chevrolet short box 4 wd. Its a very nice truck and I want to swap the rear receiver square framed with a round tube receiver hitch. It looks like you dont carry that item for the 88-98 Chevrolets. Does anyone make those? Will a 99 or newer work?

Thanks for reaching out, Mark!
In order for you to get a round tube hitch receiver for your 1997 Chevy pickup you'll need to have one fabricated using something like the part # E17.
I'm guessing the reason you're wanting to swap the hitch out is so that it looks a little more sleek. If this is the case then you might be interested in the Curt # C14081 because the crosstube will be hidden under the truck. This gives you a much better look where the only thing visible is the hitch receiver, which you can see in the attached photo.
We actually had the chance to install this on a '97 Chevy so I'm linking that video for your reference.

Thanks for getting back to me, Jon. Yes, I am looking for a less obvious hitch and it looks like not only you carry it but show how to install it. That's why I have bought my last 2 receiver hitches from you. Great selection and very informative about install and wiring. Thank again!
