Will Porous Tape Help Make Unlevel Seams on Roof Flat Enough for Alpha Systems Roof Membrane

Question:
I had questions about the Alpha roof replacement. The video is a great resource. However, I noticed a significant decking height difference around the 23 minute mark in the video. I understand this is not part of the Alpha systems replacement, but my question: Is this difference of uneven decking normal and if following the repair directions compensate for the uneven decking? Refer to step 3 in the Alpha system directions and the photo attached.

Yes, that difference in the decking is normal and if you follow the instructions for the Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane # AL23CV by putting a porous tape over those seams then it will help level everything out.
