Question:

I need a replacement awning and roller tube that will work with Carefree 12 volt arms, particularly the drive and idler end caps. The arms are carefree part numberAM115858. The centre to centre mounting width for the arms is 11 feet and the fabric is approximately 10 foot wide with an 8 foot projection/extension. A wire for LED light strip sewn in to RHS of awning is preferred. The existing roller tube is 10’ 5” long 125”. Tube I.D. Is 3 1/4” and O.D. Is 3 3/8”. It has three slots for polycord 2 used for awning attachment, that mate with the end caps for driving the roll. Can you recommend an awning and roller tube that would work with the Carefree arms? Thanks

Hello Robert. We do offer the Solera Roller Tubes, and we do know these to be compatible with the Carefree awning end caps. The shortest roller tube we offer is part # LC260560261 which is 12' long so you will need to cut it down to size and re use your current carefree end caps. The solera tubes have the same diameter as the carefree.
