Question:
I have a Flex-A-Lite dual fan system exactly like this model FLX 295. I have it installed on my 1968 F100 custom radiator built by Ron Davis out of Glendale AZ. The engine is a Ford Big Block FE 360 ci… My fan system has always cooled my engine perfectly. But here lately the operation has been intermittent. Right now the fan is not working. I’ve checked everything… the fuse, the wiring, I’ve adjusted the “pot” screw to both directions. There are no lights on on the VSC Module p/n 33057KIB. I cannot have this fan coming and going like this. I also have installed an override switch that can keep the fan running full time when turned on. When the switch is on… it lights up RED. Either the fans are bad, the VSC is bad, or the a wiring issue. I’m an electrician on fighter jets. I’ve checked everything. I’ve only had this fan installed for one year. I’ve looked thru my records and have somehow misplaced my fan paperwork. If need be, I will have to purchase a new fan… FLX 295 This fan is identical to the fan I have installed… Somebody please help me..!

Hey John, while I don't know exactly what you have we do know that you have a Flex a Lite setup and that would indicate to me your thermostat and controller went out since it's not working like it is supposed to. For a replacement for that we have the part # FLX31174.
