Question:
Hi there, I need a Rhino Rack HD-FK1 fitting kit to install my fairing onto my HD bar. Its just 8 longer bolts. Your webpage https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Rhino~Rack/HD-FK1.html shows the bolts have a safety head needing a special wrench but the installation pdf and Rhino Racks webpage doesnt refer to this at all and just lists an allen key. Can you clarify or confirm if a special tool is needed? Is it possible to use regular bolts needing only the allen key? Many thanks Howard

Hi Howard,
I had the bolts # HD-FK1 pulled from the warehouse and confirmed that the bolt heads do have the special security bit in them that would require one of the following security Allen keys to tighten/loosen:
Short # SECKEY-S
Long # SECKEY-L
Standard # RR57TB

Hey Howard, how did things go with the HD-FK1 fitting kit and the security Allen key options? Your experience could point others in the right direction when setting up their Rhino-Rack fairing.
