Can The Fogatti InstaShower 7 Tankless Water Heater FG37FR Replace A 6 Gallon Suburban Tanked Heater

Question:

I am looking to replace the 6 gallon Suburban water heater in my camper as I am pretty unhappy with it. I want to go with a tankless one and stumbled onto this Fogatti InstaShower 7 Tankless Water Heater - 48,000 Btu Part Number: FG37FR Will it work as a suitable replacement? Its just me using the camper so I figured I would save a little money and go with a lower Btu option. It doesnt look like a door is included though. Is this accurate?

We don't carry the Suburban line of water heaters so you will need to check a few measurements to make sure it will fit, but you may need to do a few modifications to make it fit properly.

With that said, here are a few specs for you. The Fogatti InstaShower 7 Tankless Water Heater - 48,000 Btu # FG37FR measures 13” wide, 13” tall, and 13-13/16 deep. The operating water flow is 2.5 gallons of hot water per minute (or 150 gallons per hour), which will be more than adequate for a singular person, and will use LP gas for operation (there is not an electric option in the Fogatti line). If that all aligns to your needs, then it will be a good option.

Lastly, you are correct in that this does not include the door. We have a few options for said door (you will need to measure again) and I have them listed out below. I also included the “kit” part number as that will be the heater unit and the door together, which will ease the ordering process.
