Is There Way to Create Remote AC Unit Thermostat for Advent
Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/08/2024 >
Question:
Im replacing a Carrier AC with the Advent 15.000 btu and the carrier adptor kit. Do they make a wireless thermostat or even a wired t-stat that can be mounted on the wall? Or a remote t-stat.Anything that will work so I can get the thermostat out of the AC unit so I can get a more accurate temp. In the rv. Thanks Dan

The actual thermostat is built into the AC unit and there isn't a way to have like a remote sensor so that you can get a different temp reading although I can see why that would nice.

Hey Dan, were you able to find a thermostat option that worked with your Advent AC setup? Knowing what you ended up using could really help others looking to get a more accurate temperature reading in their RVs.
