Replacement Gear Set for Fulton 1000-lb Tongue Jack
Updated 05/13/2014 | Published 05/11/2014 >
Question:
my gears stripped out on a Fulton 1000lb capacity tongue jack, the handle gear. Ive looked and are unable to find a beveled gear set replacement, BECAUSE my current handle gear is pinned thru the gear itself, the sets online show that the gear pin sits behind the beveled gear. can you help me find the replacement? NOTE: the pin going thru the gear is what holds the handle in place, not allowing it to slide out of the jack.

It is not possible to identify the correct replacement gear set for your Fulton tongue jack based just on your description. My technical contact at Fulton confirmed you will need to find the jack's part number, usually stamped into the outer tube, as well as advise if it is a top-wind or side-wind type.
