Is There a Vent That Allows Fan-Tastic Fan Vent to Open Fully

I also have a Fantastic Fan model FA 7350 and understand the height restriction and shame on Dometic for not providing a cover to allow their fan dome to fully open. With that being said my problem is that my dealer installed a MaxxAir ll MA86JR over my fan and the edge of the dome catches on the side angled louver edge,motor shuts down and dome cant close. Ive removed the MaxxAir ll cover for now to allow the fan dome to close. My question is there another cover that I can put on that wont cause this interference? Hi Bob,
There isn't a vent that allows the full opening of your Fan-Tastic vent, but there are ones that can get the vent most of the way. I know it's not what you wanted specifically but our customers have had the most luck are with Dometic vent covers. If you want to go that route you can get either Black or White with the Dometic FanTastic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - Black # DMC38FR or White # FVU1500WH.
