Thule hasn't listed any of their trunk mount racks, like the Gateway Pro 3 # TH78VR, as a fit for your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC, but as an alternative I recommend the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack # Y02633 instead.
The FullBack is comparable to the Gateway Pro in ease of use and sleek looks, and I've actually installed this a handful of times and found it to be one of the easiest trunk mount racks to install.
Yakima has a note saying you need to install the straps in "anchor" mode for your application. If you check out the linked video I shot on a 2020 Audi Q7 you can see my thoughts on the rack as well as how to put the straps into anchor mode!
