How to Power Up the Furrion Vision S Monitor When Truck Only Has USB Power Ports
Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/16/2024 >
Question:
My Furrion Vision S Camera System Monitor Model: F0S43TADS has a connection cord to be plugged into a vehicles cigarette lighter opening. My new vehicle does not have a cigarette lighter. Is it possible to buy either a new cord that uses the newer vehicless USB type slots OR to buy an adapter for my existing cord? I use this camera system to help back-up my travel trailer with my truck. I also use it to see whats behind my trailer while driving my truck down the highway. It is very useful.

Hey Kim, thanks for reaching out!
There are USB to cigarette-style adapters out there, but at this point in time (June 2024) we unfortunately don't have any.
The solution that we do have for you is to add a cigarette-style outlet in your truck to make it compatible with the Furrion and for that we have the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332.
I'm glad to hear the Vision S is working out really well for you!

Hey Kim, how did things go with adding the 12-volt outlet in your truck for the Furrion Vision S camera system? It’d be great to hear if that setup powered your monitor the way you needed. Your update could make it easier for others upgrading to newer vehicles without a cigarette outlet.
